Carrier Transicold, PAR LMS team up

PAR Logistics Management Systems has reached an arrangement with Carrier Corp's Carrier Transicold Division concerning PAR’s refrigerated trailer tracking system. The agreement with Carrier allows PAR LMS to employ its tracking/monitoring technology to extract and transmit information from trailer equipment to end users.
The system supplies data on a refrigerated trailer’s status, temperature, fuel level, battery, location, and history.
“This development allows PAR to communicate with Carrier’s transportation refrigeration systems, and will provide end users with critical, real-time information for better management, usage and protection of refrigerated cargo and the assets that move them.” said John W Sammon III, vice-president and general manager of PAR LMS.
