The Internet’s on-ramp to information on Carrier Transicold’s North American refrigerated truck, trailer, and rail products, www.trucktrailer.carrier.com, has been upgraded with a fresh new appearance, faster navigation, and expanded focus on the customer.

Carrier Transicold helps improve global transport and shipping temperature control with a line of equipment for refrigerated trucks, trailers, and containers. It is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp (NYSE: UTX).

The improved website contains more product information, new functionality, a cleaner appearance, and easier navigation. Its home page now provides quick links to Carrier Transicold products and key functions, such as the Dealer Locator and newsletter subscription requests. Other pages, including those containing installation instructions and information on Carrier Transicold’s aftermarket support programs, have been redesigned for more efficient access to information.

David Kiefer, director of marketing and product management, Carrier Transicold, said, “Not only is the website more customer-friendly, but it also showcases our customers—both their applications and equipment—through an entirely new ‘Customer Connection’ section.”

This section provides refrigerated haulers who are proud of the appearance of their trucks and trailers a place to show off their Carrier Transicold units to a global audience. Customers may submit digital photos of their equipment by emailing them to trucktrailer.refrigeration@carrier.utc.com for consideration for posting. The Customer Connection also includes a Customer Success Stories section, where case studies may be viewed and downloaded. Current and back issues of Carrier’s free “eFlash” newsletters can also be found within the Customer Connection.
