ATC upgrades truck reefer unit line

Jan 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Advanced Temperature Control has added two new series of truck engine-driven refrigeration units to its line of refrigeration systems for small and medium trucks. The Series 20 is for larger bodies and provides cooling capacity of 21,000 Btu/hr at 35° F. The smaller Series 15 units provide 13,000 Btu/hr capacity at 35° F. Airflow for the Series 20 is 2,200 cubic feet per minute, and the Series 15 puts out air at 700 cfm.

Both unit series are available with hot water heating, a feature on all ATC refrigeration systems. The units have in-cab controls for thermostat setting as well as a digital cargo space temperature display. The control can be repaired by field technicians if required.
