US Truck Body has new reefer body line

Nov 1, 2003 12:00 PM

US Truck Body has expanded its product line of dry freight van bodies with a new line of refrigerated van bodies.

Lightweight, high-strength construction is combined with thermal integrity in these bodies. Heavy-duty fiberglass pultruded posts are used exclusively inside the roof and walls to provide insulation capability. There are no metal posts inside the walls to transfer heat or cold. The ceiling, walls, and floor are individually foamed in place inside the firm's temperature controlled foaming press to ensure consistent foam density along with flatter, straighter walls.

No wood is used anywhere in the ceiling, walls, floor, or doors to hold moisture or bacteria. All interior surfaces are lined with Kemlite glassboard, and they're fastener-free.

All swing doors on these new reefers feature DuraPlate exterior panels, foam filled-in-place insulation, Kemlite glassboard interior panels, and corrosion resistant aluminum hinges with stainless steel pins. All exterior surfaces are made of corrosion-resistant materials for long, trouble-free service: stainless steel rear frame, aluminum wall construction, corrosion-resistant stainless and aluminum fasteners, and aluminum hinges with stainless steel pins.

Body lengths are provided from 10' to 28' in 96"- and 102"-wide sizes, with an array of options. For more details, contact US Truck Body, 1807 N Bloomington St, Streator IL 61364.
