Ultima Dock Shelter provides full access

Jan 1, 2009 12:00 PM

Pentalift's Ultima Dock Shelter Model PS470 is designed for applications where full access to the rear door opening of the trailer is required. The trailer penetrates through the shelter curtains, allowing them to seal on the outside of the trailer's body and providing full access to the trailer door opening.

This model replaces the traditional rigid side frames of a conventional shelter with a soft-sided foam frame designed to take the incidental impact by a trailer without damage to the shelter frame. The Ultima Shelter is suited for applications where space requirements at the loading dock are limited.

The Ultima Shelter provides the advantages of a rigid and flexible shelter in one design. Design applications include:

  • Fits doors up to 10'-0" wide × 10'-6" high

  • 18" to 24" unit projection

  • 8" and 10" backboard widths based on unit projection

  • Shelter dimensions up to 140" wide × 132" high

  • Designed to take incidental impact and provide maximum seal

  • Excellent for high-use dock and or where energy saving is key

  • Enviro-Green foam side pad member compresses if incidental impact occurs by trailer
