Atkins Nutritionals Inc, provider of food and information products and services based on controlled-carbohydrate nutritional science, has awarded Advantage Logistics Inc the operation of its Atlanta GA distribution center.

The agreement calls for Advantage to provide third-party logistics services, including warehouse and transportation management, for the Atlanta facility beginning in April 2004 This site is one of three key locations in Atkins' nationwide network from which its foods and nutritional products are distributed to the retail market. The contract represents the second such site to be awarded to Advantage. In October 2003, Atkins chose Advantage to manage its new Aurora CO distribution center.

Advantage is a wholly owned subsidiary of SuperValu Inc.
