Energy Guard dock leveler seal
system can prevent energy loss

Serco Company’s Energy Guard provides a superior perimeter seal along the sides and rear hinge of dock levelers to block dirt, debris, insects, and—most importantly—prevent energy loss.
The patent-pending design seals the gaps between the dock leveler and concrete pit walls up to 9" above dock level, which is better than traditional weather seal and under-leveler seals attached to the front of the dock leveler. Energy Guard stops the air flow and thus stops heat and energy loss.
Energy Guard is factory-installed on new equipment so the need for field labor is eliminated. There are no parts or assemblies installed under the dock leveler or on the pit floor and no fabric exposed to the face of the loading dock wall to be torn or damaged by trailers and debris. Because it has no mechanical components or springs, it requires no scheduled maintenance. Energy Guard’s design does not incorporate curtains or fabric that blocks access to the dock leveler or pit, allowing unrestricted access for pit cleaning and dock leveler inspection.
To enhance the performance of existing equipment, Energy Guard seal assemblies can be ordered for retrofit to existing Serco, as well as some competitive, dock levelers and are designed for field installation by an authorized Serco service professional.
