RedLine Solutions has been working with Ippolito Fruit & Produce to help with its cooler and inventory operations. Ippolito implemented RedLine Cooler in 2011 and has seen dramatic improvements in its shipping and warehouse operations.
In a recently published joint case study, Ilidio Domingues, Ippolito’s distribution manager, said, “RedLine Cooler has made a tremendous impact on our shipping and warehouse operations. We have achieved nearly 100% shipping accuracy, are better managing our product and packaging inventories, and have realized time savings in the order fulfillment and inventory counting process.”
Todd Baggett, chief executive officer of RedLine Solutions said, ‟“Ippolito is an industry leader and runs a first-class operation. They began to see results from installing RedLine Cooler almost immediately.”
RedLine Cooler allows users to manage inventory and order fulfillment processes. Cold storage workers scan product bar-codes for every pick, move, or ship transaction. RedLine Cooler guides them through the process and notifies them of errors so they can immediately correct them. This streamlines product flow and eliminates bottlenecks at shipping. The system manages product locations, pallet configurations, and accurate order fulfillment while recording who performed each activity and when.
Ippolito moves millions of produce packages across North America each year. The company grows and ships spinach and a variety of other fresh vegetables in more than 200 packaging configurations under the Queen Victoria brand.
RedLine Solutions provides whole chain traceability systems for fresh produce growers, packers, and shippers. The company offers a complete line of traceability systems including RedLine Field, RedLine Cooler and RedLine Packing.
