KX Logistics opens
warehouse in China

Jun 17, 2008 9:56 AM

Kangxin (KX) Logistics announced the opening of one of the largest refrigerated food warehouses in the People’s Republic of China. The new Beijing warehouse, which is 12,000 square meters (40,000 square feet), joins three other KX Logistics refrigerated warehouses in Tianjin, Suzhou, and Guangzhou.

Since 2003, when Rich Products Corporation acquired a majority interest in KX Logistics, the third-party logistics company has quadrupled the number of refrigerated trucks it owns. KX Logistics now has 100 first-class low-temperature transport vehicles and 100 logistic vehicles, and transports its customers’ products throughout China.

KX Logistics employs about 350 associates at its warehouses and offices in 14 cities across China, serving major multinational corporations including Coca-Cola, Pepsi, YUM!, Nescafe, Wal-Mart, and McCain. KX Logistics offers services ranging from normal temperature, freezing, cold preservation, transport and delivery, low-temperature storage, packing and processing, and liquid jar transport to multimodal transport.

Part of KX Logistics’ customer service promise involves investing in advanced tracking systems to keep the food being warehoused and transported as fresh as possible.
