Mattingly Foods opens
storage facility in Ohio

May 2, 2008 8:48 AM

Mattingly Foods has opened its new 48,000-square-foot refrigerated storage facility in Zanesville OH. Taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony were several employees, Zanesville Mayor Howard Zwelling, and the company’s founders, Bob and Bette Mattingly.

The $3 million project, which marks the firm’s third major expansion in 10 years, gives the distribution center 200,000 square feet of space along with administrative offices, a service department, and Cash & Carry business. This expansion provides Mattingly with three separate areas for refrigerated, frozen, and ambient temperature products and simplifies loading of its 75-truck fleet.

The project was begun in late summer 2007.
