Course explains RFID cold chain deployment

The University of Kansas is offering a two-day RFID Cold Chain implementation course, RFID in the Cold Chain: Justifying and Deploying Your Cold Chain Solution, set for Feb 8-9, 2007, in Las Vegas NV.

This seminar is designed for engineers, technicians, executives, and other professionals who are new to RFID and need to understand how to implement RFID in their cold chain.

The instructor is Michael McCartney, founder and principal of Quality Logistics Management, a consulting practice focusing on RFID technology and its implementation.

Attendees will receive a CD-ROM containing class presentations, ROI calculators, and vendor questionnaires; a copy of the second edition of RFID Labeling: Smart Labeling Concepts & Applications for the Consumer Packaged Goods Supply Chain; and QLM's 12-step implementation guide. They will also receive access to a discussion website where they can discuss their progress with the instructors and other attendees.
