Systems Services of America to relocate

Jan 1, 2007 12:00 PM

Chain restaurant distributor Systems Services of America will relocate its corporate operations to its parent company headquarters in Scottsdale AZ. Previously known as McCabe's Quality Foods, the Portland OR-based quick service and casual dining restaurant supplier was acquired by foodservice industry marketer and distributor Services Group of America in 2000. It joined SGA's wholly owned subsidiaries Food Services of America, Amerifresh, and S&P Meats.

According to Gerald Cobb, company president and chief executive officer, only the corporate staff will be relocating. None of the operations around the state or that do business throughout the West and Pacific Rim will be affected.

Cobb said historically, company management was combined with distribution center operations. But because of acquisitions and regional customer growth, the company experienced a shift in sales volumes to the Southwestern states.
