USCS plans refrigerated warehouse in Florida

Jun 1, 2006 12:00 PM

United States Cold Storage (USCS) plans to construct a 150,000-square-foot refrigerated warehouse as part of its expansion in the metropolitan Orlando FL area.

This warehouse is set to be built in Poinciana Industrial Park. It will have multiple refrigerated storage rooms for meats, frozen dinners, cheeses, ice cream, and other such products. USCS operates three other storage and distribution centers in the Orlando area for manufacturers of frozen and chilled food nationwide.

New Jersey-based USCS says the new warehouse will have 28 employees when it opens, and 10 more workers will be added in the next three years.
