WOW Logistics expands
Idaho distribution center

Jun 9, 2008 10:15 AM

Appleton WI-based WOW Logistics is expanding its 307,000-square-foot distribution center in Jerome ID. Begun in April 2008, this $4.5 million project will add another 127,000 square feet of public warehousing space for a total facility size of 434,000 square feet.

This addition, being built for dry/ambient warehousing space, will create open refrigerated space in the WOW coolers for firms requiring temperature-controlled storage. When finished, the Jerome plant will have more than 350,000 square feet for ambient temperature storage and 82,500 square feet of fully racked refrigerated space. The addition will employ a new fluorescent lighting system as well as 24-ft.-diameter industrial ceiling fans.

Completion of the expansion project should occur in September 2008.
